This is a robust, lighthearted piece like something that might be heard in a western movie. It is suitable for a good high school band or a very good middle school ensemble. There aren't many technically demanding sections, but some of the rhythmic figures will offer some exciting challenges.

Fairly conventional concert band: 2 Flutes, Oboe, 3 Clarinets, Alto & Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, 2 Alto Saxophones, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, 3 Trumpets, 2 F Horns, 2 Trombones, Baritone (BC), Baritone (TC), Electric or String Bass, Basses, Percussion, Timpani.
Also included are parts for brass band instruments: 2 Eb Horns, 2 Bb Trombones (TC), Eb Basses (TC), and Bb Basses (TC).
INSTRUMENTAL RANGES: All Clarinet parts freely cross the break, 1st Trumpet up to G# above the staff, Trombones up to F above Middle C.
TECHNICAL AND MUSICAL CHALLENGES:
Everyone in the ensemble has some rather complex rhythmic patterns. Frequent meter changes, but only between 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, and 5/4.
