This arrangement is an audience pleasing blues in a traditional New Orleans Jazz style.
The primary challenge is to play the style convincingly and accurately.
Technically there are very few difficulties, particularly for the advanced middle school or typical high school ensemble.

Conventional cadet concert band: Flutes, Oboe, 3 Clarinets, Alto & Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophones, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, 3 Trumpets, F Horns, Trombones, Baritone & Bassoon, Baritone (TC), Electric or String Bass, Basses, Percussion.
Keyboard part is also included which will allow this piece to be performed regardless of any missing woodwind or brass instruments.
Also included are parts for brass band instruments: Eb Horns, Bb Trombones (TC), Eb Basses (TC), and Bb Basses (TC).
INSTRUMENTAL RANGES: 1st Clarinet up to Bb above the staff, 2nd Clarinet to G above the staff, 3rd Clarinet remains below the break, 1st Trumpet up to G above the staff, Trombones up to Middle C.
TECHNICAL AND MUSICAL CHALLENGES:
The primary challenge of this piece is to get everyone playing the slow swing style properly and to play the syncopaterd accented notes together.
